EBAC supports Exeter City Council’s Child Exploitation Awareness Conference
EBAC were pleased to assist our partners from Exeter City Council with their recent event aimed at improving awareness about the issues concerning exploitation of children within the city.
The event was attended by business, statutory partners, and police and hosted at Exeter City Football Club.
Inspector Dave Turner from Devon & Cornwall Police spoke of the work being undertaken within the city to identify and protect those most at risk from harm.
Jackie Thomas, the Prevention Officer from The Children’s Society gave great insights into how businesses can respond to suspected exploitation and the consequences that it brings to the children involved, as well as familial and societal harm.
